All Are Welcome
We meet weekly for practice, study, and discussion. We can help you to get started in meditation and/or provide support for your ongoing practice. Whether you are new to meditation or more experienced, you are welcome to join us at any time! The tone of our meeting is friendly and casual.
Every facilitator has a different approach, but what you can expect is a period of formal meditation practice (30-40 minutes), a dharma talk that explores some aspect of the Buddha’s teachings pertaining to meditation and the path of awakening, and time for discussion and community building.
There are plenty of meditation cushions and chairs for you to use. If you have your own cushion, it may be helpful for you to bring that with you, both for preference and because occasionally we do max out!
There is no charge for attendance. Donations (dana) are gratefully accepted.
Please note the group meets up 3 flights of stairs with no elevator access. A community member will often be at the door to greet you, but if not, please press the buzzer and proceed up to the 3rd floor.
